TimeBoost Terms of Use
Last updated: 6 October 2026
TimeBoost is a software service for job costing, quoting, scheduling and invoicing. It is provided by Buzz Business Boosters, a partnership (ABN 88 199 005 173) in New South Wales, Australia.
These Terms of Use are the End-User Licence Agreement for TimeBoost. They apply when you download, install, create an account for, subscribe to, or use TimeBoost on any device or platform, including iPhone, iPad, Android and the web, and when a store listing or software integration links here.
The general BuzzBrain Terms & Conditions still apply to the BuzzBrain website and other BuzzBrain products. If those terms and this page say different things about using TimeBoost software, this page applies.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating a TimeBoost account, tapping agree, downloading the app, or using TimeBoost, you accept these Terms.
If you use TimeBoost for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for that business. If you do not agree, do not use TimeBoost.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is the one published on this page, with the Last updated date. If a change materially affects an existing paid customer, we will take reasonable steps to give notice. Changes do not take away rights you have already accrued.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
TimeBoost is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or enter a subscription.
You must give accurate account details and keep them reasonably current. You are responsible for your login, devices and authorised users, and for activity carried out through your account.
If you invite staff or other authorised users, you are responsible for choosing who has access, what they can see or do, and for removing access when it is no longer needed.
Contact us promptly at support@buzzbrain.com.au if you think an account or device has been used without permission.
3. TimeBoost software licence
Subject to these Terms, Buzz Business Boosters gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use TimeBoost for your internal business purposes while your access is authorised.
You do not buy the TimeBoost software. You receive a right to use it. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, lease or provide TimeBoost as a service to others, except as Australian law allows.
App Store and Google Play are not parties to this licence. Their own terms also apply when you download TimeBoost from those stores.
4. Subscription and service access
TimeBoost may be offered as a private beta, trial, early access or paid subscription. What is included depends on the offer described when you sign up.
Approved beta testers may use TimeBoost without a subscription charge during private beta. When paid subscriptions begin, the price and billing terms will be shown before you are charged. You will not be charged only because you joined a free beta.
Unless we tell you otherwise before you pay, paid TimeBoost subscriptions are month-to-month in Australian dollars plus GST. You may cancel before the next renewal. After cancellation takes effect you generally keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
We may change prices. For an existing recurring paid subscription we intend to give at least 30 days’ notice before a price increase, unless you agree otherwise, the change is a tax or government charge, or a shorter lawful period is reasonably necessary. You may cancel before the new price applies.
Beta, preview and early-access features may change, be replaced or be removed. Do not treat a beta as your only recordkeeping or backup system.
5. Acceptable use
Use TimeBoost only for lawful business purposes.
You must not use TimeBoost to break the law; to mislead customers; to send spam or abusive messages; to upload malicious software; to interfere with the service; to try to access another business’s workspace without permission; or to scrape, overload or misuse the service.
You must not enter information you do not have the right to use, including another person’s personal information, without an appropriate basis.
6. Your information and business data
You keep ownership of the business information you put into TimeBoost, subject to other people’s rights.
You give Buzz Business Boosters a limited permission to host, process, transmit and use that information only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support and improve TimeBoost, to operate integrations you choose to connect, and to comply with the law.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter or import, and for deciding who you share it with.
7. Customer and business records
TimeBoost may hold customer names, contact details, job addresses, quotes, invoices, payment records, site notes, photos and similar business records because you or your authorised users entered them.
Those records belong to the business workspace, not to a staff login. If a staff member leaves or deletes their personal login, the owner’s customers, quotes, invoices and payments stay with the business.
Australian tax and business-record rules can require invoices, payments and related records to be kept after someone leaves or an account is closed. TimeBoost will not treat a personal-account deletion as a request to destroy the business’s legal records.
You are responsible for how your business collects, uses and keeps its own customer and staff information.
8. AI-assisted features and limitations
Some TimeBoost features use artificial intelligence, automation or third-party AI tools. These systems can be wrong.
Suggestions, summaries, transcriptions, extracted invoice lines, recommended prices and similar outputs are aids only. Review them before you rely on them for a quote, invoice, schedule or other business decision.
TimeBoost does not guarantee that AI-assisted features are accurate, complete or suitable for your circumstances.
TimeBoost does not provide financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.
9. Quotes, pricing, calculations and recommendations
TimeBoost can add up costs you have set, apply your margin and show a recommended price, GST, estimated profit and a “why this price” explanation.
Those figures depend on the rates, costs, travel, materials, GST settings and other information you enter or import. If the inputs are wrong or incomplete, the results will be too.
TimeBoost does the maths. You decide the final price, the scope you send to a customer, and whether a job is worth taking.
TimeBoost does not guarantee profit, quote acceptance, supplier prices, future costs, tax outcomes or any other financial result.
You are responsible for checking customer-facing quotes and invoices before you send them, including price, GST, ABN, payment details and what the job covers.
Payment status in TimeBoost is what you record. TimeBoost does not take or process customer payments.
10. Accounting integrations, including Xero and QuickBooks
TimeBoost may let you connect a supported accounting product, including Xero and QuickBooks (Intuit), when that connection is available.
Connecting is optional. If you connect, you authorise TimeBoost to exchange the information reasonably needed for that integration — for example contacts, invoices, payments or items you choose to send or receive.
The accounting product remains a third-party service. Its own terms and privacy policy also apply. Intuit, Xero and similar providers are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for TimeBoost.
TimeBoost does not replace your accountant or bookkeeper. It does not guarantee accounting accuracy, tax compliance, BAS outcomes, or that information in TimeBoost will match your accounting file.
You must review anything sent to or received from an accounting product before you rely on it. Disconnect the integration if you no longer want that exchange to continue.
An integration may stop working if the provider changes or withdraws its service, permissions or API.
11. Third-party services and integrations
TimeBoost uses other providers for things such as hosting, sign-in, maps, calendar, weather, document reading, app stores, analytics and, where you connect them, accounting.
Those providers have their own terms, privacy practices and availability. We do not control every part of a third-party service.
If you download TimeBoost from the App Store or Google Play, that store’s terms also apply. The store operator is not responsible for TimeBoost and is not a party to this licence, except where that store’s rules say otherwise.
Optional connections — for example Google Calendar, Google Maps, weather or an accounting product — only run when you choose to use them.
12. You review financial and business information
You remain responsible for your quotes, invoices, GST treatment, tax invoices, records, pricing decisions and anything you send to a customer, staff member or accounting product.
Check important figures in TimeBoost before you act on them. TimeBoost is a software tool. It is not financial, accounting, tax or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for your own review or for a qualified adviser.
13. Availability, outages and changes
We aim to keep TimeBoost reliable. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.
The service may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet or device problems, third-party outages, security events or events outside our reasonable control.
We may improve, change, add or remove features. We will not deliberately describe a planned feature as if it is already available. If a change materially reduces core functionality of a paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to tell affected customers.
Statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
14. Intellectual property
Buzz Business Boosters owns or licenses the intellectual property in TimeBoost, including the software, interfaces, designs, branding and original workflows. Third-party software and brands — including Xero, QuickBooks, Apple, Google and others — remain their owners’ property.
You keep ownership of your business content. Feedback you send us may be used to improve TimeBoost. Sending an idea does not require us to use it or pay for it.
15. Privacy
We handle personal information in line with the BuzzBrain Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy law.
That policy explains what we collect, how TimeBoost stores information on a device and in the cloud, optional integrations, overseas processing, security, retention, access and correction.
16. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary, including for unpaid fees, serious or repeated misuse, a material breach of these Terms, a security risk, unlawful use, or where we cannot reasonably keep providing the service.
Where it is appropriate and lawful, we will give reasonable notice and a chance to fix the problem before ending a paid account. We may act immediately for serious security, fraud, unlawful conduct or harm.
You may stop using TimeBoost and close your account as described below.
17. Account and data deletion
You can ask us to close a TimeBoost login and, where the law allows, to delete personal information tied to that login. Use the in-app deletion request where it is available, or email support@buzzbrain.com.au.
A request is a request. We will not say an account is deleted until the login is actually closed. We may need to verify that you control the login.
If you are staff or admin, closing your login removes your access. The owner’s business records stay.
If you are the last owner, asking to delete your account does not instantly wipe the business. Legal and financial records may need to be kept. Closing or transferring the business is a separate, verified step.
TimeBoost will not delete copies that already sit in Xero, QuickBooks or another provider you connected. Those stay with that organisation until you delete them there.
Where export is available, export anything you need to keep before access ends.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buzz Business Boosters is not liable for loss that Australian law allows us to exclude, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, and loss caused by incorrect or incomplete information you entered, outputs you did not review, or a third-party service failing outside our reasonable control.
This section does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, wilful misconduct, or rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
19. Australian Consumer Law
TimeBoost comes with rights and guarantees that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law and other Australian legislation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right, remedy or protection that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
Where the Australian Consumer Law allows liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee to be limited, our liability may, where fair and reasonable, be limited to supplying TimeBoost again or paying the reasonable cost of having it supplied again.
Nothing here limits a refund, cancellation, compensation or other remedy where that right cannot legally be limited.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to TimeBoost, the law, or how we operate.
The current version is published on this page. The Last updated date will change when we publish a revision.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia.
The courts and tribunals of New South Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to bring a matter elsewhere under Australian law.
